Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Members of the Campos Family Vineyards Community,

Ten years ago, we stepped onto this land with hope in our hearts, a deep respect for the vines, and no real understanding of just how profoundly this community would shape our lives.

Today, we write to share that we have made the thoughtful decision to pass Campos Family Vineyards into the care of another family. This decision comes after ten meaningful and unforgettable years, years defined by purpose, connection, and the privilege of building something truly special alongside all of you. They have truly been the 10 best years of our life!

From the beginning, Campos Family Vineyards was never just about wine. It was about people. It was about generosity, gathering, and using what we were given to make a difference in the world. None of that would have been possible without a community that believed in those values and showed up again and again with open hearts.

We are especially appreciative of every single member of our wine club. Boy, we have had a lot of fun together. You all have brought a new definition to the word “celebration.” You have shown up with enthusiasm, excitement and passion and we adore you all!

Together, we created a wine give-back series rooted in gratitude and service. Through Gigi’s Blend, 65 Roses, Lou, Forget-Me-Not, and others. Each bottle became an opportunity to support causes that matter deeply, from autism awareness and cystic fibrosis to ALS and advancements in dementia care. We are profoundly thankful to a community that not only supported these wines but embraced the idea that business can be a force for good.

We also had the joy of launching a series of wines named after our grandchildren, each one a reminder that legacy is measured in lives touched. This Saturday, we will release a wine in that series, Journey, named for our grandson Evan. The name feels especially fitting as we step into this next chapter.

Over the years, Campos Family Vineyards became a place for life’s most meaningful moments. We shared Wine Down Fridays, kickball games, concerts, weddings, engagements, baby showers, birthdays, celebrations of life, and quiet conversations over a glass of wine. We were honored to host our church family, Harvest Rock East Bay, and to watch this vineyard become a gathering place filled with faith, laughter, music, and love.

We are also deeply grateful to the extraordinary team who brought this vineyard to life each day and made every guest feel welcomed, cared for, and at home. Without our amazing employees that have worked with us over the years it would have been impossible to accomplish all that we did. It truly took a village!

This transition allows us to continue investing our time and energy into philanthropic work that has become central to our calling, including Men of Hope, Rise Up Women, and Vineyard Academy. What began during COVID as a small alternative learning environment has grown into a thriving private Christian school serving more than 260 children. Your support helped make that possible.

We are also pleased to share that the new family stepping in brings extensive experience in owning and operating restaurants across many communities.

They value hospitality, people, and continuity. Campos Family Vineyards will continue business as usual for a long time to come, and the Campos Family Vineyards name will remain. We kindly ask you to extend the same warmth, support, and trust to them that you so generously gave to us. We’re pleased to say that we will be staying local so that we can assist the new owners in the transition. So, that means you will still see us on the property and even at some events. We believe the way you leave one season determines how you will enter the next. Our intention has been to make this as smooth as possible for our team, our customers and for you, our amazing community! They have great plans in store and we are truly excited for what’s to come!

Thank you for your gratitude, your generosity, and your belief in causes that truly make a difference. Thank you for enjoying our wine and telling the stories that matter most. Thank you for allowing Campos Family Vineyards to be part of your lives, just as you became part of ours.
With full hearts and deep appreciation,

Ric and Michelle Campos
